Employees Attend Career Fair

Approximately 60 employees attended a Career Fair on Tuesday, January 27, at Hartselle Medical Center. There were 16 recruiters on-site showcasing job openings at a variety of health care providers, including seven hospitals, home health agencies, and a company with a network of family care and urgent care centers throughout the Southeast. There are representatives on-site during the next two weeks from Lee Hecht Harrison – a company specializing in career transition – to provide workshops on job search skills, resume writing, etc.
“Our top priorities remain caring for the patients who come to us during these next two weeks as well as taking care of our employees,” McGill added. “There are a significant number of health care job openings throughout the region, and it is our hope that most employees will be able to find a new position quickly. We intend to do all we can to help our employees in whatever ways they need with this process, such as conducting Career Fairs like this one.”
